The CENTER serves as a resource for the community
and as a center of our collective strength.

Desert Pride Community Center has a renewed spirit and with your support, we will be able to continue to offer a variety of support groups, classes, educational seminars, and meeting space for our community.

We are providing cultural events, including art shows, a book club, and building our LGBT specific lending library. The services and programs we offer enhance and sustain the health and well being of our LGBT community.

Desert Pride Community Center is committed to moving forward in developing stable sources of funding in order to continue providing services to our community. With your help, we will soon be able to expand our mental health and substance abuse counseling to individuals who need it in order to stay healthy. We will no longer accept the fact that such services are not available to the vulnerable and at-risk individuals in our community.

Through our work, we create a sense of community, empower members, provide essential resources, advocate for our civil rights, and embrace diversity.

Join us in our renewed efforts to "Connect Our Community."

Major Grant Funds New Computer Lab at the Center
Through the generosity of the David Bohnett Foundation, the Desert Pride Community Center has been gifted a complete state-of-the-art computer lab. The David Bohnett Cyber Centers, located in 54 cities throughout the U.S., offer free access to the Internet and computer classes for the traditionally underserved LGBT community. The Cyber Centers also serve as a hub for educational opportunities for seniors and youth. The mission is to provide software training, classes and Internet access inside a comfortable, informal environment.
